St. Vincent’s Day
On Monday after Easter Sunday we celebrate this local holiday, which begins at 6 in the morning with the singing of the Aurora through the streets of the village. Following is the “Procession of the Combregats”, where the Santísimo visits the sick or disabled people who so desire. At noon takes place the Asado Popular in the courtyard of the old schools, where we all go to make the bonfire and eat together, a day of brotherhood where each one takes the food and where the most important is the experience of being all in harmony.
